Kentucky Highway 181 was officially designated as "Veterans Memorial Highway" on 31 May 2023. The designated route extends 30 miles in Todd County from the US 79 intersection in Guthrie to the Muhlenberg County line and continues another 20 miles to Bremen in Muhlenberg for a total length of 50 miles. The combined effort by State Legislators, Todd and Muhlenberg County officials, and City officials was achieved at the suggestion of Tony Combs.
